Globaleye’s Groomers – Movember 2013

During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of millions of moustaches around the world. With their “Mo’s” men raise vital funds and awareness for prostate and testicular cancer, as well as men’s mental health. As an independent global charity, Movember’s vision is to have an everlasting impact on the face of men’s health.

Since its humble beginnings in 2003 in Melbourne, Australia, Movember has grown to become a truly global movement inspiring more than 3 Million Mo Bros and Mo Sistas to participate across 21 countries worldwide.

In 2012, over 1.1 million Mo Bros and Mo Sistas around the world joined the movement, raising GBP £92.0 million.

Each year, brave and selfless companies across the business world, from the relatively small to some of the largest global corporations, come together as one and stand side by side, united in their commitment to fine moustachery and changing the face of men’s health.

This year, Globaleye will be one of them…

HOW IT WORKS

Movember challenges men to grow a moustache for the 30-days of November, thereby changing their appearance and the face of men’s health.

On the 1st of Movember, with a clean-shaven face, participating men start their Mo growing journey.

Then for the entire month, these selfless and generous men, known as Mo Bros, effectively become walking, talking billboards for 30 days. Through their growing efforts they raise awareness for the often ignored issues of men’s health, by prompting conversations wherever they go.

Another crucial part of being a Mo Bro is to raise funds for men’s health. Men donate their face, and much like taking part in a run or a walk for charity, ask their family and friends to sponsor their efforts.
